She was graduated from T.E.D. Ankara College in 1973 and from the school of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation in 1978. She received her Master of Science degree in 1981 and phylosophy of doctorate degree in 1987 from the Health Sciences Institute of Hacettepe University.
She was appointed to be an associated professor in 1989 and professor in 1995. She worked as the asistant director of Vocational School of Health Services between 1994-2000 and director of Polatlı Vocational School of Health Services between 2000-2005. She studied as the secratary general of the Turkish Physiotherapists Association between the years 1984-1985, 1990-1996, President of Turkish Sientific Association for Prosthetics-Orthotics between 2000-2002 and President of the Turkish Physiotherapists Association between the years 2002-2006.
She was appointed to be the director of the School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation between 2005-2008 and chair of the Physiotherapy Rehabilitation Department of Health Sciences Faculty between 2008-2011. She has been directing the Vocational School of Health Services since 2012.
Currently she is continuing her studies as a professor of physiotherapy rehabilitation department prosthetics and biomechanics unit, and chair of the prosthetics orthotics program of Vocational School of Health Services of Hacettepe University.Speciality: Prosthetics, Orthotics, Biomechanics, Body awareness
